My wife and I have been using Airbnb for over 10 years. This was one of the nicest places we've stayed. Eric has created a truly charming property. The location and seclusion were wonderful. The kitchen was well-equipped with a full range of appliances and basic supplies.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Caribe Lodge. Julie's personalized welcome, the refrigerator stocked with local specialties, the refreshing pool, and all the thoughtful touches were extraordinary. The lodge was very clean, welcoming, and had everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the sunset every evening, comfortably settled on the balcony, sipping a planter's punch and listening to the beautiful birdsong. We will cherish the memories we made at Nature Caribe Lodge. We found it hard to leave this magnificent place. I recommend it 100%.

We were lucky enough to witness baby turtles making their first leap into the ocean at Leroux Beach.

Fantastic stay. Beautiful accommodation. Julie gave us a wonderful welcome with lovely touches: homemade rum punch, local jam... And she was nearby in case of any problems. The Wi-Fi wasn't working during our week, but we were able to download things at her place. Her husband also kindly came to fix a flat tire on our rental car. The rooms are so comfortable that it's impossible to tell day from night.
We would go back without hesitation.

We loved our stay in this house. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. Being able to fully open the living room to the outside made us feel close to nature. Birds often came to visit us. We saw hummingbirds flying very close to the terrace.
The view is magical. We plan to return to this house on our next visit to Guadeloupe.

We spent 30 days as a family in an idyllic location. The sunsets over the sea directly in front of us amazed us day after day. The house is spacious with thoughtfully designed layouts. The furniture is beautiful and comfortable, and the kitchen is very functional. Access to the sea, just below the property, is easy. The beach is pebbly. You only have to walk a few meters into the water to see a whole array of fish, coral, and marine plants. Magnificent snorkeling just a two-minute walk away was even better than we had hoped! The swimming pool is a very welcome addition for easily cooling off between visits to the various nearby beaches, all of which are beautiful. The house is far enough from the road that we barely noticed its presence. Finally, the people who welcomed us were truly wonderful. They were both discreet, making us feel at home, and also available and proactive when needed.

What can I say except that this trip to Guadeloupe was exceptional, especially thanks to Eric's lodge where we felt right at home. Spacious, beautiful, functional, very well-equipped, clean... the lodge is truly a pleasure to stay in and was a hit with everyone. And what about the pool, the garden, and the breathtaking view first thing in the morning? While the hummingbirds were there, we were mostly visited every day by our sugarbird friends, male and female European robins, who were quite tame and loved bread and bananas ;) Eric was very helpful, and the detailed description, practical information with pictures, and even recipes was a real starting point that instilled confidence and made our arrival and stay more comfortable. You can book this accommodation without hesitation. I think it would be hard to find better, and we certainly don't regret choosing Deshaies as our base for this trip.

We are a group of six who stayed in Eric's very pleasant and beautiful house for two weeks this month. Our stay went wonderfully: the instructions before our arrival were very clear and complete, and Isabelle and Michel gave us a warm welcome with delicious treats that delighted our taste buds. This lovely all-wood house is very comfortable: two bathrooms for three bedrooms, a very functional kitchen, and a living room that opens completely onto the garden with a sea view—it would be hard to find anything more beautiful. The presence of bananaquits and hummingbirds, the swimming pool, the sun loungers in the lush garden, and the beach just a few minutes' walk from the house all contributed to making our stay perfect. In short: a magnificent house, impeccably clean, and very satisfactory amenities. Exceptional view. Very warm welcome. An exceptional stay. We highly recommend Eric's house and can't wait to return next year!

It has a splendid view overlooking a wooded garden and the sea in the distance. The secure swimming pool is very pleasant after a day of swimming or even a day of relaxation.

Of all the Airbnb we have stayed this was clearly the best we have ever visited. We have never been to a more serene, beautiful, and natural place. The vistas were incredible. We experienced beautiful sunsets every night, flora and fauna at our Windows every morning, and the Magical sounds of the whistling frogs every night. Eric, Isabel, and Julie where our gracious, gracious hosts. The nearby town of the Deshaies is a quiet village with excellent food and friendly laid-back people. We are definitely coming back. The house of happiness exists and it is located in Deshaies. From the hummingbirds of the morning to the sunset in the evening, including the swimming pool in an exceptional house… Everything was perfect and our stay was magnificent.

We had an unforgettable stay in this villa. The house is perfect; everyone can have their own privacy or share convivial moments.
From the very first moments we appreciated our host's great availability and his carefully compiled little guide of things to see and do.
The house is ideally located: the garden is a verdant haven, meticulously maintained, the swimming pool is safe for children, and the small beach nearby offers a perfect walk to get some fresh air during lockdown. Not to mention the bonus of the lovely Leroux beach, just a 2-minute drive away!
